4. Apply to matching jobs: See live remote jobs that fit your resume, and tailor for each one.

What tailoring changes

• Profile or summary: A short opening aimed at the role you are applying to.
• Key skills: Skills from your resume that the job asks for are moved to the front, in the job’s own words where they are true.
• Experience bullets: Reordered and rephrased with strong verbs, so the most relevant work comes first.
• Format: Plain text with clear headings that applicant tracking systems (ATS) can read. No tables, columns or graphics.
• What it never does: It never invents employers, dates, degrees, certifications, numbers or skills that are not in your resume.

ATS tips for remote job applications

• Use the job’s exact wording for skills you really have, for example “stakeholder management” rather than “working with stakeholders”.
• Keep to standard headings: Profile, Key skills, Experience, Education.
• Avoid tables, text boxes, columns, icons and headers or footers: many ATS read them out of order or skip them.
• Put dates and job titles on one line per role, newest first.
• Send one tailored resume per job. A general resume rarely matches a specific job description well.
• For remote roles, mention time zones you can work, async communication and remote tools only where your experience shows them.

Why do I need to sign in?

The AI runs on our servers, so a free account lets us keep your resume private to you and stop abuse. Signing in takes a few seconds with Google or an email link.

Will the AI make things up on my resume?

No. It is told to reorder, rephrase and emphasise what is already in your resume, and never to add employers, dates, degrees, numbers or skills you do not have. Always read the result before you send it.

Is the tailored resume ATS-friendly?

Yes. It is plain text with standard headings and no tables, columns or graphics, which applicant tracking systems read reliably.

What is the difference between a resume and a CV?

In the US and Canada a resume is usually one to two pages. In the UK and Europe the same document is called a CV and follows slightly different conventions, such as British spelling. Choose US resume or UK and Europe CV before you tailor.
