Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account, signing up for job alerts, setting Pro match preferences, creating a private talent profile, posting jobs, sending an employer enquiry, or contacting us. This can include your name, email, company details, target role, keywords, location, timezone, salary floor, skills, work eligibility, profile links, job details, and payment-related records.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide the free and paid services, process payments, control Pro access, send requested weekly or weekday job notifications, review employer hiring requests, match candidates with relevant USA, UK, Canada or Europe remote roles, prevent abuse, and improve the platform.

Pro Billing and Emails

Stripe handles Pro checkout, recurring billing and the customer billing portal. We store the Stripe customer, subscription and invoice identifiers needed to confirm access and payment status, but we do not store full card details. Resend processes requested job-alert emails. A Pro email is skipped when no live listing matches the preferences you saved.

Talent Profiles and Sharing

Talent profiles are private by default. If you request a shareable profile, Remote1stJobs may publish limited career information only after a manual review; your email, salary expectations and private notes are not displayed publicly. If you give contact and sharing consent, we may contact you about relevant roles and share relevant profile details with hiring companies where there is a potential match.

Employer Enquiries

Employer hiring enquiries are stored privately so we can review role fit, respond to the hiring contact, and operate the Remote1st Hiring Partner subscription or related hiring services.

Advertising and Consent

We use Google AdSense to display and measure advertising. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, device identifiers, and similar technologies to deliver ads, measure performance, limit repeated ads, and prevent fraud. Where consent is required, ad storage, ad user data, ad personalization, and analytics storage default to denied until a permitted choice is received through Google's consent message. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe.
