Our team includes veterans who helped launch Waymo, scaled Segment to a $3.2B acquisition, and grew Uber Freight to $5B in revenue. We retrofit the heavy equipment contractors already own, starting with excavators, so experienced crews can safely take on more projects and deliver more of the critical infrastructure our society needs. In August 2026, Bedrock-equipped excavators began doing fully autonomous, paid work on live commercial job sites. We've more than doubled our customer base since 2025, and our machines now work with contractors across the South, Midwest, and Mid-Atlantic In October 2026, we raised a $600M Series C co-led by CapitalG and Emergence Capital, bringing our total funding to nearly $1B. We're using it to put more autonomous machines to work, build the field and operations teams behind every deployment, and expand into new machine types and job-site tasks. This is where algorithms meet steel-toed boots. You'll work alongside construction veterans and world-class engineers to solve physical-world problems that simulations can't touch. We’re seeking a stellar, highly experienced, Technical Program Manager to drive some of Bedrock’s most critical initiatives, including our Data Products. This pivotal role is at the heart of our mission, driving programs that bridge Engineering, Commercial, and Operations. You will partner intensely with world-class engineering teams to deliver the next generation of autonomous-capable construction machinery. This is a hands-on, high impact role for someone who thrives in early-stage environments and wants to shape durable processes that help a fast-growing company scale What you’ll do: • Anticipate and mitigate program and technical risk, surfacing issues early and providing leadership with clear options and recommendations. • Balance tactical implementation with strategic execution, shaping roadmaps and dependencies while adapting quickly to a fast-moving environment. • Define and evolve lightweight program management practices that scale with the company and enable teams to move faster without compromising safety or quality. • Translate complex technical interdependencies—from cloud infrastructure to field operations—into aligned, actionable program plans, mastering cross-functional coordination. • Use excellent communication skills to facilitate high-stakes technical decision-making and help teams navigate tradeoffs across diverse engineering and operations workstreams. • Operate with a relentless sense of ownership for the success of programs you work on. What you’ll bring: • 7+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or in a comparable technical leadership role, with a proven ability to deliver complex, multi-disciplinary systems involving cloud infrastructure, software applications, and physical deployments. • Domain experience in Eval and Robotics, including familiarity ML/Simulation loops, data storage, or security protocols required to support autonomous systems. • 2+ years of professional experience leading programs involving safety-critical or high-reliability systems, understanding the rigor and validation required for systems operating in the physical world. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments, with a strong bias toward building lightweight structures and durable processes that help a growing company scale through complexity.
