Visit our Institutional Page https://www.nu.com/2026-en TEAM CONTEXT The AI Transformation Office (AITO), part of AI Core, is Nu's central office driving the company-wide AI transformation. We orchestrate all of the AI workstreams — including function transformation, infrastructure, AI risk, AI cost and communications — and work directly with Nu's management team and senior leaders across the company. ABOUT THE ROLE You join a small core team as the person who brings the outside view: first-hand experience of how an AI plays a key role at a company that is further along. You'll use it to shape where Nu's transformation goes next, decide which AI solutions we build or buy, and structure how progress reaches the management team — while staying hands-on enough to unblock the initiatives that matter most. Impact: you will shape the direction, reach and quality of Nu's AI transformation. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Shape Nu's AI strategy with industry learnings. Bring what worked and failed at top players to define where Nu goes next — what to double down on, what to stop, how to sequence it, and which operating model fits. • Define our AI solutions portfolio. Map the AI solutions we have internally and support build-vs-buy calls — which tools, harnesses and context layers Nu should build in-house versus source externally — and shape the scope of the ones we build. • Own the management team narrative. Structure what goes to Nu's management team every week — turning signals from every workstream into a clear picture of progress, risks and the decisions needed. • Define what success looks like. Set ambitious targets for our AI initiatives and the KPIs, measures, and mechanisms that show whether they are actually delivering impact. • Unblock critical initiatives. When something is stuck, go into the team, understand the blocker and resolve it — across functions, without formal authority. • Run the operating rhythm. Lead weekly workstream sessions with initiative owners on gaps, ETAs and resourcing; connect cross-workstream dependencies and escalate risks early.
