The role You'll be Vesta's first Product Marketing Lead, doing the product positioning, proof and launch work directly. You'll report to the Head of Marketing. The learning curve is steep. A single mortgage runs through thousands of pages of underwriting guidelines, agency and investor rules, compliance review, and a chain of outside parties from settlement agents to insurers. You'll learn it from teammates who spent decades inside lenders, from our customers and from the product, until you can explain a lender's operation back to its own executives. Your audience is senior operators at large lenders, where decisions go through buying committees and long sales cycles. The core of the job is showing them why they can trust our AI agents, how to put them to work, and how they change the cost of making a loan. You'll work closely with product and sales, and since the function is new, you'll help shape how it works with both. The rest of marketing handles demand generation and everything else. What you'll own • How Vesta's products, including AI agents, are positioned, named and explained to lenders • Proof a risk-averse lender will act on: customer results, references and benchmarks • Demos and launch stories that walk through how each new AI agent reaches its decisions, in terms an experienced underwriter would sign off on • A repeatable launch process for product, sales, and implementation teams What you bring • 5+ years of product marketing for B2B software sold to buying committees, ideally to risk-averse buyers in regulated industries like fintech, lending, banking, insurance, payroll, benefits or compliance • A history of choosing harder domains over familiar ones, with a specific example of how you got fluent in one • A track record of positioning work that shaped product decisions • Writing that makes complex work clear, both to the executives who run it and to people who've never seen it • Bonus: time as an early or first product marketer at a venture-backed startup, or mortgage or lending experience Benefits and Perks • Robust medical, vision, & dental coverage (~100% of employee premiums covered) • FSA plan offering • 401(K) plan offering • Meaningful parental leave - 16 weeks fully paid for all new parents, birthing & non-birthing parents (applies to adoptions as well!) • Remote-first culture with a physical hub in the Bay area and NY! • Generous Work From Anywhere & Wellness Benefits • Monthly cell & wifi stipend • Monthly Doordash benefits • Open & encouraged flexible time off • Company offsites to get to know the team! Our cash compensation for this role is targeted at $165,000 - $200,000. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed.
